From The President’s Desk     Hello Friends, I take this opportunity to welcome you to The NEMAACON 2008 web site. NEMAA - The North East Mumbai Anesthesiologists Association (Regd.) is a body founded in 1988 with the need of addressing needs and problems – specific to the practicing anesthesiologists and empowering them with information of their rights and responsibilities. NEMAA conducts regular meetings and workshops tackling waxing issues and providing knowledge about the developments in the domains of anesthesia, critical care and pain management. Newer drugs, procedures and medico legal issues relevant to the anesthetists are dealt with great lucidity in seminars conducted by experts. It has to its credit four major international conferences typically held in the month of October around the world anesthesia day. The last event conducted in October 2006 was very well received-attracting around 500 delegates. NEMAA is getting stronger with each passing year and remains committed to the welfare of the anesthesia community. We sincerely believe that the next installment of our scientific meeting - NEMAACON 2008 will reiterate this commitment.
